Let the bumping begin

Lent bumps, the first installment of the craziest form of rowing I have ever seen (May bumps being the second), started yesterday on the Cam. My boat will row its first of four races today, sandwiched between strong crews from Pembroke and First and Third. Anyone who calls rowing a non-contact has never seen this event.
